Lovely restaurant, wonderful and patient staff. Great place to catch up with friends for a meal and chat.

Five Rivers Indian Restaurant

12-14 Bridge Street, Leatherhead KT22 8BZ, UK – 01372 363312

My wife and I had dinner here recently. The food and service are excellent, if a little pricey (the dinner and takeaway menus are priced differently). Some items on the menu are new to us, which is refreshing, but lots of old favourites too. The interior is a bit gloomy so hard to tell from the outside in daylight whether it’s open. Although it may well not be possible to park next to the place, there are public car parks nearby which are free in the evening. I'd give it 4.5 Stars if I could.

This was the best lunch I had in Leatherhead so far. The somehow manage to combine Western and Indian cuisines in an interesting way. How about Five Rivers Signature Lamb Shank? In fact, even the starter, lamb samosas, we unusually tasty. And the rice was — garlic and aubergines. I enjoyed everything.

Crazy Bean Cafe

23 High St, Great Bookham, Leatherhead KT23 4AA, UK – 01372 879741

Had such a wonderful experience here, I visited on a Saturday with a friend whilst passing through the town (so glad more vegan places are popping up outside of London), they only had one front of house staff member but we didn’t have to wait too long to be served; the lady was very friendly and helped us pick from the exciting menu. The food did not take too long and was SO delicious! One of the tastiest mac n cheese I’ve had and for sure the BEST brownie I have ever tasted. Left with a happy tummy and a smile on my face!

As a meat eater, my expectations were not that high to be honest, but the flavours were incredible. I had a simple veggie chilli, but it was so tasty and surprisingly filling. Such a nice vibe to the place too. I'll be back.
